During the extrusion process, the high melting point color masterbatch will form different flow rates with PC and ABS, and the pigment will be irregularly distributed, ultimately forming a flow pattern effect.

For example, the common molding temperature for PC/ABS is 230-240 ° C. Within this temperature range, general color masterbatch carrier resins (such as PE and EVA) will completely melt, and a uniform flow rate will be formed during the blending and extrusion process, resulting in a uniform mixing and distribution of pigments.
If high melting point carrier resin color masterbatch is used, such as PA66 with a melting point of 260 ° C, which does not fully melt at the molding processing temperature of 230-240 ° C, by adjusting the injection molding process parameters and the amount of color masterbatch, different colors and color shades of PC/ABS flow pattern effects can be adjusted.
