Bangladesh may ban e-cigarettes

At present, the Ministry of Health of Bangladesh has drafted an amendment on tobacco products. If the amendment is passed by parliament, the sale, production, import, export, storage, and transportation of e-cigarettes in the country will be prohibited, and violators will be fined or imprisoned.

The amendment prohibits the addition of spices to tobacco products, increases fines for smoking in public places, and punishes unauthorized tobacco sales.
