The city of Joliette in northeastern Illinois, USA, has closed four stores that violate laws on selling e-cigarettes to minors.
According to foreign media patch reports, Terry Darcy, the mayor of the northeastern city of Joliette in Illinois, announced on November 21 that the city has closed four stores that violate laws on selling e-cigarettes to minors. It is said that this is the third action since September, when the city of Joliette received complaints about selling e-cigarette materials to minors.

According to the report, the action on November 15th found four companies violating regulations, and these companies have been issued an emergency shutdown order for seven days.
Darcy said, "As I said before, we hope to strictly enforce illegal activities and have zero tolerance for violators
According to the Illinois Department of Public Health, e-cigarettes, cigarette sticks, and other e-cigarette products are battery powered devices that allow users to inhale e-cigarette oil. As of July 1, 2019, Illinois law prohibits the sale of tobacco products, including these products, to people under the age of 21.
