Korean Tobacco Company Increases Production Capacity Of New Tobacco Products

South Korean Tobacco Company has built three new e-cigarette production lines this year, bringing the total number of e-cigarette production lines to 8. The company has also established an automated warehouse that can store 360000 boxes of electronic cigarettes. The company announced that its strategic focus will be on international expansion of e-cigarettes, heated cigarettes, and cigarette businesses. They plan to strive for over 60% of their total revenue from new tobacco products by 2027 through investment and innovation activities.
South Korean Tobacco Company plans to further expand its e-cigarette production innovation center, with a focus on increasing production facilities at the Xintanjin and Gwangju factories to ensure meeting the rapidly growing market demand for new tobacco products. In January of this year, South Korean Tobacco Company issued a "Future Vision Declaration", announcing its investment plan, with the expansion of the new Tanjin factory as part of its investment plan. In September, the company announced the construction of a new factory in Indonesia to produce exported products. In October, the company broke ground on its new factory in Kazakhstan, striving to establish a foothold in the Eurasian market.
