Research Shows That Nicotine Bags in The Mouth Cannot Effectively Alleviate Nicotine Addiction in Smokers

According to a new study from Ohio State University, chewing nicotine bags does not effectively alleviate tobacco addiction and cannot replace cigarettes, revealing the problem for nicotine addicts.
Recently, according to Miragenews, new research results from the Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center and Tobacco Research Center in the United States show that nicotine bags, which claim to replace tobacco leaves, cannot effectively alleviate smokers' nicotine addiction.
This study, published in the medical journal Addiction, collected 30 active adult smokers from the Appalachian community in Ohio and observed changes in blood nicotine levels during three stages of smoking or using oral nicotine bags containing 3 or 6 milligrams of nicotine.
The research team found that compared to using low-dose and high-dose oral nicotine bags, current smokers have higher levels of nicotine in their blood during smoking, and the relief of smoking addiction symptoms is more significant.
The main author, Keller Hamilton, explained that about five minutes after smoking, a measurable peak in nicotine in the blood appears.
For nicotine bags, like other smokeless tobacco products, this is a more gradual process that typically takes 30 minutes to an hour to achieve optimal results, and the decrease in nicotine levels is also the case, with nicotine bags experiencing a slower decline in nicotine levels.
She said that for people who are already addicted to nicotine, smoking is more attractive to the desire for immediate gratification than chewing nicotine bags.
Keller said, "Nicotine addiction is a very real problem for many people, and most current smokers express their desire to quit smoking, but often fail because it is very difficult to quit and persist for a long time
