Swedish Parliament Rejects Electronic Cigarette Ban

The Swedish parliament recently rejected a proposal to ban the sale of electronic cigarette products containing spices. In this regard, 177 members voted against and 126 members voted in favour.
At present, seven European countries have banned the use of non tobacco flavored e-cigarettes. In Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Hungary, Ukraine and Lithuania, restrictions on aromatic e-cigarettes have been put in place. In the Netherlands, the spice ban originally scheduled to begin in July was postponed to January 2023. No European country has completely banned the use of electronic cigarette products.
