UK Environmental Welfare Organization: Recycling E-cigarettes Is The Most Fundamental Way To Solve Pollution

GREEN WINGS PROJECT, a public welfare organization for the recycling of disposable e-cigarettes in the UK, believes that banning disposable products cannot fundamentally solve environmental pollution problems, and the most fundamental solution is recycling.
On October 28th, at the 2023 UK e-cigarette exhibition, two top noticed a one-time e-cigarette recycling charity organization called "GREEN WINGS PROJECT". The organization claims to be committed to using scientific and effective methods for harmless recycling of disposable e-cigarettes, and currently has multiple sponsors, including e-cigarette brand companies and logistics companies. In addition, the organization also collaborates with some social organizations.
The staff of GREEN WINGS PROJECT at the exhibition site told two people to prioritize, but as a public welfare project, GREEN WINGS PROJECT recycles disposable e-cigarettes for free. It is reported that the main brand sponsor of the organization is ELUX. In addition to e-cigarette brands, the organization also collaborates with local logistics companies in the UK.
The on-site staff mentioned above stated that many environmental protection agencies are currently insisting on a comprehensive ban on disposable e-cigarettes, but just like the prohibition laws in the United States a few decades ago, banning alcohol is not a fundamental solution to the problem. Similarly, for disposable e-cigarettes, recycling is the fundamental solution. GREEN WINGS PROJECT began to realize the sudden increase in sales of e-cigarettes during the 2020-2021 pandemic, as one of the initiators of the organization had previously worked in the logistics industry and wanted to start a harmless recycling public welfare project with e-cigarettes as the entry point. At present, the organization still focuses on e-cigarette recycling projects, and the largest and closest cooperating brand is ELUX.
It is reported that GREEN WINGS PROJECT currently has 6000 recycling points and over 10000 recycling bins in the UK. In addition to foreign brand logistics, stores and distributors also choose to cooperate with them, as this can save on recycling costs.
