Alexander Spiridonov, Vice Chairman of the Russian State Duma Industry and Trade Commission, told Duma Television that due to many people becoming accustomed to e-cigarettes, the production and sale of e-cigarettes should gradually be banned at this stage.
According to the Russian media "Parliamentary Gazette" on November 13th, "State Duma Television" reported that Alexander Spiridonov, Vice Chairman of the State Duma Industry and Trade Commission, told Duma Television that as many people have become accustomed to e-cigarettes, the production and sale of e-cigarettes should gradually be banned at this stage.
Previously, Bisultan Khamzaev, a member of the National Duma Security and Anti Corruption Commission, supported an initiative to ban the use of flavored e-cigarettes.
He believes that doing so will reduce the attractiveness of e-cigarettes. In addition, in October, the congressman also supported the refusal to sell tobacco products on social media.
It is reported that a proposal to ban the sale of nicotine containing products on the internet may soon be introduced, and lawmakers have also proposed imposing fines on illegal e-cigarette advertisements.
