According to Katv, the Arkansas Smokeless Tobacco Alliance has collaborated with organizations such as Little Rock City to raise public awareness of the dangers of tobacco smoke and celebrate the nationally recognized 'American Quit Day'.
On November 6th, they will hold a press conference in the rotunda of Little Rock City Hall, highlighting the negative health and economic impacts of smoking and e-cigarettes in Georgia.
According to the data of the No Tobacco Children's Campaign, the number of deaths caused by smoking exceeds the total number of alcohol, AIDS, traffic accidents, illegal drugs, murder and suicide.
The executive director of the federation, Catherine Donald, stated that they hope that Arkansas smokers and e-cigarette users can make at least a 24-hour commitment to quit smoking with tobacco users nationwide on November 16th, hoping that this commitment can inspire them to develop a smoke-free/nicotine free lifestyle.
