The UK Prime Minister Plans To Phase Out Smoking Bans To Protect Children's Health, With Norringham County Ranking First in Terms Of Smoking Rates

British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak plans to phase out smoking to protect children's health, receiving over 12000 responses in government consultations. The proposed measures aim to limit the use of e-cigarettes and stop selling tobacco products to 14-year-old children. Sunak emphasized the importance of the ban in saving costs for future health and the national healthcare service system.
Hull City is far ahead in terms of smoking rates, and the city government has allocated a large amount of funds for smoking cessation work. Currently, the government has provided a total of £ 70 million (approximately $86.77 million) to local councils to help them work to solve the smoking problem, which is more than twice the current funding.
