Health Canada Approves The First Nicotine Bag in China

The Canadian Department of Health has granted a license to Nicoventures Trading Limited, a subsidiary of British American Tobacco, to sell nicotine bags to ZONNIC, which can help adult smokers quit smoking by delivering nicotine into their bodies. Imperial Tobacco Canada (ITCAN) will become ZONNIC's sole distributor in Canada.
According to the Associated Press on October 12th, the Canadian Department of Health has granted a license to Nicoventures Trading Limited, a subsidiary of British American Tobacco, to sell nicotine bags to ZONNIC, which can help adult smokers quit smoking by delivering nicotine into the body. Imperial Tobacco Canada (ITCAN) will become the exclusive distributor of ZONNIC in Canada.
It is worth noting that ITCAN is a subsidiary of British American Tobacco and has no relationship with the Imperial Tobacco brand. Frank Silva, President and CEO of ITCAN, stated:
This is the first time in Canada that no other nicotine bags have been authorized by the Canadian Department of Health
It is reported that ZONNIC does not contain tobacco and can temporarily alleviate smoking addiction and nicotine withdrawal symptoms. It has obtained a natural health product (NHP) license and has been authorized by the Canadian Department of Health to sell as a form of nicotine replacement therapy (NRT).
