According to Gazetanews, Florida, USA is introducing sniffing dogs for training in order to detect students holding e-cigarettes, smokers, and other drugs in schools.
In recent years, although schools in Florida have banned the use of e-cigarettes, this phenomenon has continued to rise. The Hu County Sheriff's Office recently announced that they have received an 18 month old Labrador Retriever named Samba, which is used to combat the e-cigarette epidemic in schools in the county.
The dog training this time is taking place at a time when the phenomenon of electronic cigarette use is on the rise. The Education Bureau and Police Bureau of Hu County are both seeking new methods to investigate and stop students from using electronic cigarettes.
