Kazakhstan's Ministry Of Health Recommends Banning The Circulation Of Electronic Cigarettes

The Ministry of Health of Kazakhstan calls for a ban on the circulation of electronic cigarettes to protect public health.
According to Kazinform on November 27th, Rosalina Ermekpaeva, director of the Health and Epidemiology Committee of the Ministry of Health of Kazakhstan, stated that the country's Ministry of Health recommends banning the sale and use of e-cigarettes.
This decision aims to protect the health of citizens and prevent the potential threat of nicotine products to pedestrians and non-smokers.
At present, the department has formulated a bill to amend the Code of Conduct, including regulations prohibiting the sale, display, and public display of tobacco products (including e-cigarettes containing and not containing nicotine) to individuals under 21 years old, in order to prohibit the circulation of e-cigarettes. The lower house of parliament is currently reviewing the bill.
