At present, anyone in Lithuania can sell electronic cigarettes and their containers, but it is difficult for relevant personnel to track them, especially when children share these items. According to the amendment, the sale of electronic cigarettes will be subject to clear legal provisions, similar to the treatment of traditional tobacco.

According to the revision, the sale, transfer, or sale of tobacco products or related products (including e-cigarettes) to minors at restaurants will result in a fine of 220 to 320 euros (approximately RMB 1700-2500). Repeated violators will face fines ranging from 320 to 580 euros.
It is reported that the current administrative violation rules impose fines ranging from 30 to 280 euros. At the same time, new provisions have been added to the administrative violation code, clarifying the responsibility for selling electronic cigarettes and tobacco products outside sales points and dining venues. Such behavior will result in a fine of 220 to 580 euros.
