New Law in Illinois, USA Prohibits The Use Of E-cigarettes in Public Places

Recently, according to Telemundochicago, a new law in Illinois, USA came into effect on January 1, 2024, prohibiting the use of electronic cigarettes and other electronic smoking devices in public places.
According to HB 1540, these devices will be added to the list of items prohibited for indoor public use by the Smoke Free Illinois law, which was first passed in 2008.
This law also stipulates that electronic smoking devices will be prohibited within 15 feet of public entrances.
